The program started at 8am with about 40 youths, CameroonFDP staff members and coaches. The theme was centered on “Youth empowerment and innovation in the field of gender”. The youths were encouraged to create new ideas for themselves and also not to discriminate or doubt the girls because they also have the right and privileges that men do enjoy. Interestingly, we had the youngest participant 8yrs from St Peter FC who so passionate with soccer and testify that he wants to play football and probably via CameroonFdp to become a successful player in future.
Highlights on the program were Ice breakers on Gender issues, life skills on Gender equality, football drills and games.
