Today is the day…the Third Annual International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP) is here! To celebrate in Cameroon this week, our office is facilitating a fun soccer program entirely for girls! This program supports IDSDP’s mission to use sport as a meaningful tool to address gender equality.
Here in Pittsburgh, CameroonFDP will be having our second after-school soccer program in Wilkinsburg this Friday afternoon. Last week was a huge success thanks to our guest coaches, the Chatham University Women’s Soccer Team. We are also teaming up with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Saturday April 9^th at the Highmark Stadium. Come enjoy soccer games and activities while also cheering on the Riverhounds as they take on the Harrisburg City Islanders. We will also be collecting gently used soccer equipment!
