The two teams made it to the pitch by 1 pm, while the match kick-started at 2:30 pm at the Nkamlikum school pitch. It was a thrilling encounter. Barely seven minutes into the game the boys of Nkamlikum opened the score with a powerful kick that propelled past the right leg of the defender from Metta Quarter. The team from Metta Quarter struggled to equalize the goal but to no avail until the end of the first half.

All the players who played the first half were replaced in both teams. The main idea of this friendly was to give each youth the opportunity to play. The fresh youths of Metta Quarters took a counter offensive from their back and equalized at the 10th minute into the second half through an empty goal post.

At the end of the day, it was a one-all tie. Despite several misses, none of the teams could score a curtain raiser. Several other teams featured across town this day in anticipation of the start of the league which runs from December 2020 through March 2021.
