Working with CFDP for four years I got the opportunity help young people involve in community projects, develop skills that can be transferred to income Generating activities. Born on June 17th in Kumba, I did my primary education in Presbyterian School Buea Town Secondary and high in PHS Kumba and proceeded to the University of Yaoundé II Soa and graduated with a Bachelors degree in English Private Law and masters in business law. My desire to work with youths got me involve in this great organization called CFDP.special event coordinator of CFDP receiving gifts from Dr Amin after a wonderful presentation
Working with youths in difficult circumstances requires honoring their strength and looking for ways to build healthy one on one relationships between them and other members of their communities. Many young men and women show great resilience in meeting the challenges they faced and working in this organization I now assist them by providing appropriate space and opportunity to take charge of their lives and develop healthy coping skills for their present and futur.Passing out orders is as easy as passing out business cards. But a prudent leader also knows how to lead himself or herself—not merely to provide a genuine example to others, but to become a working element of the overall machinery of your organization. “It’s important that leaders have the ability to focus and motivate themselves as they motivate others,”CFDP also encourage girls participation in all its program, empowering girls and young mothers has completely transformed my personality especially as a young dynamic women who is determine and willing to empower youths and break all communication barriers between youths and their leaders, teachers and parents. However apart from Empowering and communicating with the youths, I have also gain skills in managing conflict resolution which was my greatest threat in life, when people came together there is a potential for conflict, the fact that it exist is not bad, we learn and communicate with people even when we disagree, properly managed conflict will provide opportunities and growth. Not only will you gain the skills and capacity to lead and educate, but you will become a trusted friend, leader, and mentor for some of the players in your Football Club, and school programs.
2015 is a year of fulfillment, and empowering more girls in schools and communities will be my major goals it is often said when you educate a girl child you educate the nation. We have young girls who are very dynamic and intelligent but from very poor homes and their parents are not able to meet up with their demands and most often some of them have drop out of school and became delinquents in various communities, CFDP has raised their hopes through their participations in all our programs and we are moving forward to see that this youths achieve their dreams, IMG_0230
