The Kumba based community coach of Arsenal FC has been working with CFDP community program since 2013, coaching this youth football club at four segments;Benjamin, minim, cadet and girls team. With very limited knowledge of coaching and leadership skill, Ebika soon found himself drowning with close to 150 youths at his disposal to manage. However, though shy and timid he believed in himself and in the passion of his players and they both work together even without set skills and limited equipment. Back in the summer of 2013 when Fai joined CFDP, he soon gained faith in himself and in the content of training offered by the Kumba base sports for social impact organization. In just under four years Ebika has been transformed to a near professional coach. According to Ebika Henry Fai he is a better person and lack words to express what he has benefited from CAC training thanks to CFDP. His club performance has improved within these years and most of our best peer leaders are from is club; Arsenal FC. He commands respect from his youth players and this year with Coach Henry, Arsenal FC had the privilege opportunity to play the finals of CFDP U-14 Youth Enrichment Football League tournament against a more experienced side Brescia FC where they emerged as runners up. Coach Henry’s greatest wish is to emerged first in the CFDP super cup eliminatories that will be played on the 16th of July and represent kumba in Bamenda for the super cup finals.
