This week coaches clinic was based on the third and fourth model of our curriculum based on gender and power and gender and Sex, our coaches were enlighten to think out of the box and instead of remaining in the box and follow societal norms they all agreed to became transform leaders and pledged to transfer the same knowledge to their youths. This session was very interesting testifying by one of the coach since it was very practical.Gender norms teach men that clinics are “for women” and that men should be strong and tough and not complain about sickness. This increases the risk that men will not get tested for STI’sor HIV… but Gender and power suppresses that idea.
