For the first time ever, CFDP registered with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security to participate in the annual ‘march pass’ (parade) celebrating the rights, and acknowledging the struggles, of labourers across the world. This is an exciting day for us, as we have invited 15 players from Karawah FC, champions in our latest edition of the youth enrichment football (soccer) league, and a few of our volunteer leaders to join the management team for the days festivities.
Upon registration, we were categorized as an educational group and find out spot #67 in line for the parade right behind Diligent Bilingual Academy, one of our partner schools.
After the long morning which will do much to promote our mission and vision to the administration and dignitaries in Kumba and surrounding Meme Division, the team will move to patronize an off license where Ojong Emmanual, a CFDP volunteer leader and coach of MBS football club, works.
It looks to be a great May Day in Cameroon!
